Today fly to Ushuaia for an overnight stay. Ushuaia is located on the Tierra del Fuego archipelago, the southernmost tip of South America, nicknamed the “End of the World.” The windswept town, perched on a steep hill, is surrounded by the Martial Mountains and the Beagle Channel. It is the gateway to Antarctica cruises and tours to nearby Isla Yécapasela, known as “Penguin Island” for its penguin colonies.

Extension Package Day 1 (22 November 2021) - Buenos Aires, Argentina's capital city and the home of Tango

Arrive into the vibrant city of Buenos Aires and transfer to your hotel for an overnight stay.

WHAT'S INCLUDED IN THIS EXTENSION PACKAGE?

The price for the *Extension package is for bed and breakfast accommodation in hotels in Buenos Aires and Ushuaia, flights between Buenos Aires and Ushuaia (return) and all transfers. Accommodation is provided in twin or double bed hotel rooms with a private bathroom.
Single rooms for sole occupancy are available for this extension package. Single room supplements are £800 / $995.
Flight packages from London and the US will be offered by our flight partner about 11 months in advance of the tour departure (when all fares and schedules are available) or you can arrange your own International flights if you prefer.
Current return air fares from London to Buenos Aires are between about £800 and £1,000 and from the US about $800 to $1,200.
Airport transfers and assistance are included on arrival and departure days if you take advantage of the Extension Package. If you choose to arrange your own International flights, or arrive on non Extension Package dates, then the meet point is the hotel on Day 1 of the Extension Package and the tour ends at the hotel on the final day of the Extension Package.

Extension Package Day 4 - Join your cruise ship, the MV Janssonius

Time at leisure today until transfer to embarkation of the MV Janssonius. Once onboard and checked into your cabin, sail the mountain-fringed Beagle Channel for the remainder of the evening.

Extension Package Day 5 - Leave your cruise ship in Ushuaia and fly to Buenos Aires for an overnight stay
