Terms and Conditions
Due to the nature of the 2023 Project Indonesia Eclipse Cruise itinerary special Terms and Conditions will apply, incorporating the terms of the vessel operators
All reservations are accepted subject to Astro Trails Ltd. standard Terms and Conditions (see here).
The Indonesian cruise sector (from Darwin and into Broome) is operated by Coral Expeditions on their ship Coral Adventurer.
Coral Expeditions is proudly accredited as an ecotourism cruise operator with world-leading EcoTourism Australia. Ecotourism is defined as tourism in a natural area that offers interesting ways to learn about the environment with an operator that uses resources wisely, contributes to the conservation of the environment and helps local communities. In 2015, Ecotourism Australia’s ECO certification program achieving Approval status by the Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC). The GSTC are an independent body that establishes and manages global standards for sustainability in travel and tourism with the aim of increasing sustainable tourism knowledge and practices. The GSTC Approved tick logo means that our ECO certified products are certified under a certification program, namely Ecotourism Australia’s ECO certification, is using a Global Sustainable Tourism Council -recognised standard, is following processes and procedures that have been reviewed and approved by the GSTC, and that the certification procedures largely meet international standards for transparency, impartiality, and competence.
In addition to Astro Trails terms, the following Terms apply to the Coral Expedition cruise -
Included in the cruise price
Voyage aboard the Coral Adventurer as indicated in the itinerary.
All meals throughout the voyage aboard the Coral Adventurer.
All shore excursions and activities throughout the voyage using the two Xplorer tenders
All miscellaneous service taxes and port charges throughout the program.
Not included in the cruise price
Any meals ashore; baggage, cancellation and personal insurance (strongly recommended); all items of a personal nature such as bar and beverage charges and telecommunication charges (WiFi); and the customary gratuity at the end of the voyages (guidelines will be provided).
The itineraries published are for reference only and are subject to change due to weather and ice conditions, or due to any other reason beyond our control, at the Master's and Expedition Leader's discretion without prior notice. Passengers have no right to any refund, any other consideration or claim whatsoever in the event of inevitable itinerary changes.
Coral Expeditions requests all passengers to purchase a comprehensive travel insurance including trip cancellation and mandatory medical evacuation and repatriation cover. Coral Expeditions shall not be responsible for any injuries to persons (whether or not resulting in death) or damage or loss to property. In case of a medical problem arising during the voyage, either on board or on shore, which results in costs for evacuation, use of aircraft or repatriation, the responsibility for payment of these costs belongs solely to the passenger and Coral Expeditions specifically decline any responsibility whatsoever (also if not covered by travel insurance).
Deposit payments and other stage payments are not refundable, however you may request transfer of your reservation and any payment to another qualified person, subject to any charges incurred.
Astro Trails Ltd. act as agent for Coral Expeditions in respect of the cruise sector of the Tour and all passengers must sign a Passenger Contract with Coral Expeditions which constitutes the sole contract for the cruise and his/her agreement to all the terms and conditions relative to the cruise. By joining the cruise the passenger agrees to Coral Expeditions terms & conditions.
