Total Solar Eclipse Itineraries and Extensions

Australia is a land of abundant sunshine and a total solar eclipse here provides a good focus to visit the country’s west coast.  Our main tour is based in Perth, where the Swan River meets the southwest coast, where nature and urban life exist in harmony and where the locals soak up more sunny days than in any other Australian capital city!  The small resort town of Exmouth on Western Australia’s North West Cape, is our base for eclipse observation in this remote corner of the country.

 

Our exciting extensions include some of the other exciting places to visit in this vast country.  Extend your stay to include Sydney, perhaps venture further up to the beautiful Whitsunday Islands, gateway to the Great Barrier Reef, or take a special trip across the outback on the legendary Ghan train, covering the length of the country.

  

Observing a total solar eclipse is of course the rare event that is central to this project, but there is much more to see. This is of course not an everyday adventure...
