POST Tour Extension: Iceland Adventure
**LAST FEW SPACES REMAINING**

Day 1 (16th August 2026) - Heimaey (Westman Island) sightseeing (B, D)

Following on from Day 9 of the Main Greenland tour, after the Heimaey guided walking and Museum tour, take the ferry to the mainland and transfer by coach for a southern Iceland adventure.  En route to your hotel visit Seljalandsfoss Waterfall. Overnight in Hella.

Day 2 (17th August 2026) - Activity Day (B, L*, D)

Enjoy an adventure filled day in a super jeep 4WD and visit Reynisfjara Black Sand Beach, Yoda Cave (Gigjagja), Katla ice cave, enjoy glacier hiking and visit the spectacular Skogafoss Waterfall.  *A lunch box is included from the hotel.  Sometimes called Crystal Caves, the ice caves in Icelandic glaciers are a truly mesmerizing wonder of nature. See up close and personal why Iceland is called the Land of Fire and Ice on this extension tour.

Day 3 (18th August 2026) - Reykjanes Peninsula (B, L)

Today travel towards the Reykjanes Peninsula, where the North-Atlantic Ocean ridge comes ashore, and the manifestations of the continental rift zone between North America and Eurasia are prominent. Reykjanes means the steam peninsula and the area features a unique volcanic landscape, recognized by UNESCO as the Reykjanes Geopark, with 55 defined geosites and some exciting lava tunnels.  Enjoy a full day exploring this exciting area (with a light lunch included). Overnight Reykjavik.

 

Day 4 (19th August 2026) - Depart Reykjavik (B)

Today is the last day of the Post Tour extension. Join your return flight.

TOUR PRICES

Twin / Double room – GB£1,575 / US$1,925 per person

Single Room Supplement – GB£725 / US$895

For single travellers, we are usually able to arrange shared accommodation with a person of the same gender – this is known as ’twin share’ accommodation. Please choose the ‘share twin room (male or female) option on the booking form.

 

*The per person cost is based on twin or double bed hotel rooms with a private bathroom

*TSE2026 costings are based on prices from  October 2025. All bookings on our projects are governed by our Terms and Conditions.​ The Euro conversion Rate of Exchange used in this project is 1.2 for GBP prices and 0.8 for USD prices.

WHAT'S INCLUDED IN MY TOUR?

• Accommodation on the tour from check-in on Day 1 (usually around 3pm) to check-out (usually around 10am) on the final day of the tour. 

• Daily meal plan as outlined in the above tour summary. B = Breakfast, L = Lunch, D = Dinner

• All transfers, transportation, flights, trains, and local excursions as outlined in the itinerary (if applicable).

 

WHAT'S NOT INCLUDED IN MY TOUR?

• Optional excursions mentioned in the tour are offered closer to the tour departure date (approximately 6 months prior to the tour departure).

• Departure airport transfers and assistance offered closer to the tour departure date (approximately 6 months prior to the tour departure).

• International flights. Our flight partner, Star Travel UK, can assist with an international flight quote approximately 11 months in advance of the tour departure.

• Additional nights outside the tour dates.  If required these can be requested at the booking stage, with costs being advised approximately 6 months prior to the tour departure.

• Porterage, gratuities and tips.
