Spend three nights in this beautiful town.

Spend the day exploring the quaint town of El Calafate, or perhaps join a full day optional excursion travelling along the shore of Lake Argentino and Redonda Bay across the Patagonian Steppes, towards the magnificent Perito Moreno Glacier, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Stretching over 30 kilometres in length, the glacier is not only a visual spectacle but it is also an acoustic one, and whilst there, you will constantly hear a thunderous cracking from deep within the ice.

More time to explore the local area or perhaps take an optional excursion venturing deeper into Los Glaciares National Park, sailing from Punta Bandera Port and cross the Boca del Diablo to see the Upsala Glacier. On the optional tour you will navigate the Spegazzini Channel for a first view of the Dry Glacier, before seeing South Heim Glacier and Peinete Glacier before joining a forest trail walk to the Spegazzini Shelter with its spectacular views over Los Glaciares Bay.
Day 4 (12th February 2027) – Travel to El Chaltén (B)
