Project Egypt: Red Sea POST Tour Extension
Price: £TBA / $TBA
Duration: 6 Days
Highlights: Transfer to Red Sea accommodation, Marsa Alam, optional diving and watersports available,
overland to Luxor for departure
Includes: TBA (when prices available)
Day 1 - Arrival at the Red Sea
Transfer to the Red Sea and check into your beachside accommodation for the next five nights.
Days 2 to 4 - Days at leisure on the Red Sea coast with optional excursions available
The Red Sea in Egypt is renowned for its sandy beaches and coral reefs. The U-shaped Abu Dabab Bay is known for its sea turtles and dugongs (sea cows). Kite-surf site El Naaba Lagoon is separated from the open sea by a coral reef. Wadi el-Gemal National Park, south of the town, encompasses desert, seagrass beds, reefs and islands. The small town of Hamata lends its name to the region opposite the Fury Shoal Reef system. This is the most southerly diving resort in the Egyptian Red Sea. During your stay optional excursions will be available including diving, snorkelling, boat trips, kite surfing and watersports in general.
Day 5 - Travel overland to Luxor
Today travel overland to Luxor. Luxor, on the site of ancient Thebes, is on the East bank of the Nile and was the pharaoh's capital at the height of their power. It is described as the world's greatest open-air museum, but that comes nowhere near describing this extraordinary place. Nothing in the world compares to the scale and grandeur of the monuments that have survived in this ancient city.
Day 6 - Join your return flight or perhaps extend your stay in Luxor
Today is the last day of the tour. Join your return flight unless you wish to extend your stay in Luxor.
