Day 6 - Eclipse Day

Whilst we will have a base for the group, today you are free to view the eclipse from a place of your choice. Return after the eclipse for your last overnight at the falls.

Days 4, 5 and 6 - Travel by coach to Niagara Falls for a three night stay

Travel by coach to Niagara Falls for the next three nights accommodation on the Canadian side of the falls. Niagara Falls, Ontario, is linked with the U.S. by the Rainbow Bridge. Its site on the Niagara River's western shore overlooks the Horseshoe Falls, the cascades' most expansive section.

Days 2 and 3 - Enjoy Toronto with optional excursions available

With its highly iconic landmark of the CN Tower gracing its skyline, Toronto is also famous for its beautiful lake scenery with much of the city straddling and rising up against the gorgeous Lake Ontario. Top sights include the CN Tower, Casa Loma, the Distillery District and Ripleys Aquarium.

Day 1 (3 April 2024) - Arrival in Toronto

Arrive in Toronto, your base for the next three nights. Toronto, the capital of the province of Ontario, is a major Canadian city along Lake Ontario’s north western shore. It's a dynamic metropolis with a core of soaring skyscrapers, all dwarfed by the iconic, free-standing CN Tower.

WHAT'S INCLUDED IN MY TOUR?

Tour Price £1,675 / $2,075 per person* *Please note these costings are based on May 2020 prices and are subject to change

• The price is for the tour from hotel check-in on Day 1 to your hotel check-out on Day 10.
• Bed and breakfast accommodation is provided in hotels throughout the tour and all transfers, transportation and local excursions as outlined in the itinerary (if applicable) are included. Other meals are not included and some excursions are offered on an optional basis closer to the tour departure date (the word 'optional' is used to describe these).
• Accommodation is provided in twin or double bed hotel rooms with a private bathroom. We are usually able to arrange shared accommodation with a person of the same gender - this is known as 'twin share' accommodation.
• A limited number of rooms for sole occupancy are available at a single room supplement of £1,145 / $1,425.
• Flight packages from London and the US will be offered by our flight partner approximately 11 months in advance of the tour departure (when all fares and schedules are available) or you can arrange your own International flights if you prefer.
• Current return air fares from London (to Toronto and return from New York) are between about £450 and £650 and from the US about $250 to $550 (depending on the departure point within the US).
• Airport transfers and assistance are included on arrival and departure days if you take advantage of the International flight package offered by our flight partner. If you choose to arrange your own International flights then the meet point is the hotel on Day 1 and the tour ends at the hotel on the final day.

Day 10 (12th April 2024) - Join your return flight or perhaps extend your stay

Today is the last day of the tour. Join your return flight unless you have chosen to extend your stay and travel coast to coast with us on Amtrak via Washington, Chicago, Denver to San Francisco (click here for details).

Day 7 - Take the train to New York

Today spend the day travelling between Niagara and New York city by Amtrak. The train journey from the wonders of Niagara Falls to the soaring skyscrapers of New York city takes you from west to east across the Empire State of New York. Spend the next three nights in New York city.

Days 8 and 9 - At leisure in New York

Two days at leisure in this vibrant city. There are so many things to do in New York. Perhaps take a helicopter flight over the city, take a trip on the Staten island ferry past the Statue of Liberty, visit one of the cities many museum or art galleries or just shop 'til you drop! Optional excursions will be available.
